Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

Hey everyone!

A girl can never have too many lipsticks! And for me, I can never have too many lipsticks to review! Being a self proclaimed lipstick addict, I want to own all lipstick shades out there. Even the weird-halloween-type of shades.

I don't know what has gotten into me but I recently noticed that most of my Revlon Colorburst lipstick shades are shades I wouldn't really wear everyday. Shades that I wouldn't really buy if I was thinking straight. I guess this is the result of impulse buying. Whenever I see a good deal, like a cheap makeup product, even though I don't need it, I buy it because it's cheap. So, to girls out there who are still starting with your makeup collection, learn from me. If you really don't need it, don't buy it. Because I swear, you will not wear it and the product will just sit at the back of your drawer collecting dust.

I'm not saying I don't like the product, in fact, I do. I love the formulation of the product. That's is what lead me to writing this post and realizing that I don't have any shade that I could wear on a daily basis. The colors are not at all bad. They're nice but they're just not me.

I have another lip product review- SURPRISE!

When I saw that Suesh Market Market carries OCC Lip Tars, I just coudn't resist! I fell in love with all the shades that it took me literally 15 minutes to choose which one to get. I would've loved to get a couple but I could only afford one for now. Besides, I still want to test the product before purchasing more.
OCC Lip Tar caught my attention since way back. The product got a lot of good reviews on Sephora's websiteMakeupalley, and a lot of make-up blogs. So, my curiosity spiked! I thought, I really really need to try this product.

Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil

Hey Everyone!

I finally gave up on my search for a cheap but amazing eye pencil/liner. I have my fair share of eyeliners that I tried before and the only ones that actually work are either expensive or not locally available. So imagine my happiness, the look on my face when I have accidentally found my eyeliner soulmate. Why is it that I always find the good stuff when I'm at mall and not planning on buying anything. I think it's a curse- a good kind of curse.

I picked up these eyeliners when I was at SM Makati about three weeks ago. Just enough time for me to test this product out and do a review. The Essence counter is just filled with goodies with crazy affordable price tags. I thought the texture and staying power of these eyeliners were impressive, so I purchased them immediately.

When trying an eyeliner for the first time, I usually go for the black or brown shades. You can never go wrong with neutrals. I also picked up a pretty subtle bronzy gold liner.

Wet n' Wild Megalast Liquid Lip Color

Hey Everyone!

I should've called this blog "A Thousand Shades of Lipstick", because I am doing a first impression on another lip product.  Just so you know, I still have a lot of lip products in line to review.

This product caught my attention a few days ago while I was browsing online make-up stores. You know how much I love the MegaLast Lipstick so knowing that it is from the same collection, I had a really high expectation on this product. I was really excited because this product claims to have a super stay power. That is certainly true, but I was more disappointed than pleased. It does have a very creamy consistency but it dries with a matte finish. Don't get me wrong, I love matte lipsticks but this product feels really tight on the lips when it has set and it cracks like crazy!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Hey everyone!

I think I have found my holy grail lip product!! It wasn't love a first sight- more like love at third or fourth try. Anyway, I know this product has been in the market for more than a year now but it is only recently that I got hooked. I tried it before, almost a year ago, and it didn't work for me. The first two shades that I got were so similar to each other. I don't know what I was thinking when I got them. So I tried it a couple more times because I really wanted to like it but it really wasn't working so I stopped and just threw it at the bottom of my lip product stash.

Around two weeks ago, me and the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain met again. I was just randomly watching youtube vlogger and beauty guru itsjudytime's review and it got me curious to try it again. I did, and surprisingly I really liked it! I liked it so much that I went and got a couple more shades. It's so timing that Revlon's August promo is Buy 1 Take 1 for the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. So, if you're reading this now, the promo is still on going!
 ACCORDING TO REVLON:
It's a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lip stain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer smoother lips with perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood.

Flormar Long Wearing Lipgloss

Hey everyone!

Are you guys familiar with the brand Flormar? It is a Tutrkish Make-up company that  recently landed on the Philippine shores. They offer a wide variety of products to choose from. It's so hard to leave the Flormar stand without buying anything!

I recently got a chance to try one of their bestselling product. Honestly, the over-all look of the products are not very appealing to the eyes. I mean, they're so straightforward with their packaging. For some, that may be a good thing but for me, I'm all about cute and adorable packaging. Sometimes, I buy make-up because the packaging is really cute and would definitely look adorable on my vanity. Enough rambling! Let's go ahead and check this product out!

Flormar Long Wearing Lipgloss

Wet n' Wild MegaLast Lipstick

Hey everyone!

The Wet n' Wild MegaLast Lipstick started my love for lipsticks. I didn't really like my lips before because it is very pigmented and dry so lipsticks doesn't show up on my lips like the color on the tube and makes my lips even drier. At the end of the day, my lips looks like a big flaky mess. Thus the anti-lipstick phase in my life.

But one shopping trip in SM Department store beauty section changed all that. I was introduced to the brand Wet n' Wild. It was new then so I didn't ring any bell when I first saw it. I gave it a chance despite the lack of cuteness and appeal to their products. The packaging of their products were boring and plastic. But what caught my attention was the price. For a student like me, their prices was not bad at all. It was very affordable. I browsed and swatched all most everything but I ended buying one product - MegaLast Lipstick in 912C In The Flesh.

ACCORDING TO WET N' WILD:
Lips take center stage! This 4-hour, longwearing lip colour leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke.
  • Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed
  • Made with hydrating skin care ingredients
  • Hyaluronic microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips
  • An exclusive polymer complex offers cushion like feel and texture
  • Nature marine plant extracts coenzyme Q10 and vitamins A&E help smooth lips

Finally!

I have been thinking of starting a blog for the longest time now. I was hesitant at first because I know blogging is a full time commitment and I'm not sure if I can subject myself to that kind of responsibility. Blogging will consume large amount of my time, my precious bumming-around-the-house time, and I'm not ready to give that up yet. But makeup blogs served as my bible for the past year and the more I read them, the more my passion grew. Make-ups or beauty in general is my passion. And I can really hear the blogging angel call my name. I think its about time I share what I know, what I discovered, what I have been obsessed with, and what I love. I can blab about the beauty world for the rest of my life and I won't feel the slightest boredom. I think I'm ready. I think I'm ready to UNRAVEL THE WORLD OF BEAUTY, ONE SHADE AT A TIME.

Yes, I am inside a moving vehicle while writing my very first post.

P.S. I'm still learning how to actually write a blogpost. All the html's making my brain melt. I'm no techie and I swear computer tweaking is not my best asset. For the mean time, please bear with my lack of creativity. When I get the hang of this, I'll make sure to make reading a pleasure to all of you.
