OCC Lip Tar

Hey everyone!

I have another lip product review- SURPRISE!

When I saw that Suesh Market Market carries OCC Lip Tars, I just coudn't resist! I fell in love with all the shades that it took me literally 15 minutes to choose which one to get. I would've loved to get a couple but I could only afford one for now. Besides, I still want to test the product before purchasing more.
OCC Lip Tar caught my attention since way back. The product got a lot of good reviews on Sephora's websiteMakeupalley, and a lot of make-up blogs. So, my curiosity spiked! I thought, I really really need to try this product.

ACCORDING TO ME:
PROS:
  • Very, very pigmented
  • Feels very lightweight on the lips
  • Semi-matte finish
  • A tube will last me a lifetime
  • A little goes a long way
  • Last 2-3 hours without fading nor feathering
  • Comes in squeeze tube- very easy to control the product
  • Convenient and travel friendly packaging
  • Doesn't have a strong scent
  • Has a smooth and creamy texture- very easy to apply on the lips
CONS:
  • Dries my lips after 3 hours of wear
  • A little flakey when you press your lips often
  • You need a lip brush to apply it which can be a hassle
  • Very expensive for a lip product
  • Not locally available
OVER-ALL:
I really do like this product. I like the finish and the color pay off. I like the texture and consistency of the product. Though I mentioned that this product is expensive, I think it is still worth it considering how long one tube will last.

WILL I REPURCHASE?
Yes! I'm actually already expecting a set from the US courtesy of the boyfie ♥

WHERE TO BUY AND HOW MUCH?
I bought mine at Suesh in Market Market
Available at selected online stores
Php 1000.00

I love the squeeze tube packaging- very sanitary and clean

This is the brush that I use to apply my Lip Tar. I bought this at Landmark for less than Php 200.00.
It is a concealer brush but it work just as good as a lip brush.

I swear, a little goes a long way. This pea size amount is enough to cover my whole lips. Unless, you have bigger lips...

Swatch: MEMENTO

See how it emphasises the lines on my lips when I don't moisturize my lips beforehand?

Just smile to hide the lines

Have yo tried any of the OCC Lip Tars?
Do you have any suggestions on what product I should review next?
